Riddle Me This is a mesmerizing animated journey where Kiwi kids use their critical thinking and imagination to solve an intriguing mystery riddle in each episode. The challenge was to take a complex, brain-teasing concept and turn it into a clear, engaging visual story.
The Case of Picnic Pack Up is an episode I built from scratch - shaping the storyboards and visual style, crafting the characters, and bringing them to life through animation. Given significant creative freedom, I developed a playful flat design with hand-drawn textures to give the world a welcoming, tactile quality. The main direction was to push the visuals further to feel as imaginative as the riddles the kids are solving, shaping every decision from character expressions to scene composition.
