I had a fantastic opportunity to animate the official music video for Marvin Gaye's legendary song "Let's Get It On." I collaborated with Creatures of Habit - a creative unit led by Monica and Danielle - to bring life to a narrative concept they developed that captures the emotion and soulful essence of Marvin Gaye's singing and lyricism. The abstract visuals tell a story of two lovers longing to connect, through symbolism they express feelings of desire, intimacy, and love. As these emotions dance and intertwine, they create a vibrant explosion of colors and movement as they reach the climax of the song.

As one of the animators, I contributed to the illustrated assets, animating the morphing and connecting sequences to match every beat.
Two weeks after its release, the music video reached one million views on Youtube! πβββββββ

Animation Breakdown
We have 43 scenes in total, so we split them into about 6 or 7 sections. There are lots of ways to tackle each scene, and here are a few examples of how we went about it:ββ
